Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the dealer, not like most other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By betting against the dealer, starting players don’t have to worry about any other, more skillful individuals winning their moolla.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, novices are able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick choices.
It is also easier to bet on for a long time with basically a small amount of money since, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the dealer is given seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
