Poker Aces – how-to wager them
Poker Aces references two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the strongest attainable before theflop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this a large number of bettors find themselves on the wrong end when dealt these cards.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out pre-flop. You are sitting with the best achievable hand at this stage of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I’d say definitely no to that.
Keep in mind, you are looking to generate as much profit out of this strong position. You will want to maximize the possibility. Going all-in will simply drive most competitors into dropping out without putting a wager.
If you’re in the starting position (1st or second to wager), you’ll place a single bet. Anyone with good cards will call, hopefully somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
Following the flop your course of action will be to eliminate anybody that could get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you’re lucky you will trick one player into believing that you are faking it.
If you’re in the center or late seat (one of the last to cast your bet) you will observe as every player calls and then raise. Even though you are sitting with a pair of aces, if you can try to avert a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players fold following the flop. If you don’t force out your competitors you chance losing your hand.
