Caribbean Poker Rules and Tricks
Poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer saying "No more bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other players attain 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the house. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
