Caribbean Poker Codes and Hints
Poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the original bet. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays out cash equal to your original bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
